So basically this is my site: Imglot.com I have owned it for a a while now and I will be coding in some new features and wanted to know what people would like to see in an image hosting site. I cant seem to decide between having registration or not. Please let me know what you would like see for the new version. I have started a new design: http://dev.leedsy.net/Imglot/ Do you like it? All feedback would really be helpful.
Thank you,

Looks good, I like the tick tock AJAX. Seen this uploader before, but looks good. New design is getting there, what exactly are you planning to add? Any effects to the top bar? Shame you can't multiupload or have a collapseable div with thumbnail and forum posting codes etc...

Yes the top bar was is going to be the navigation bar. I plan on adding url upload, multiupload, and other equivalent features. But I may change my design again to be more like the old design. Sorta like google: "Nice, simple and clean.." aswell as the forum codes and copy to clipboard feature. Can you elaberate on the "thumbnail with collapsable div" I understand the whole collapsable div technique but what exactly did you mean by having a thumbnail collapsable div?
EDIT: Talked with you on MSN, you don't have to respond again if you don't want to.

tbh the live design is a little bland but then on the other hand it works so it does the job. I second the idea Sam had of using ajax. All of the functionality of that website could be done from the one page.

Current Design
I think it serves it purpose well, it's simple and straight-forward. The white on bright blue is hurting my eyes a little bit. Also, just being a sickler here... why is the text of the "Upload" button anti-aliased and the "Browse" isn't?
Newer Design
I think there is some real potential in this layout. Obviously, it's hard to tell with how bare it is right now, but I like the color selection much better than the first. The spacing seems a bit awkward... why is the apparent content block so far away from the top portion?
Nice job overall. Just some minor things in my opinion. It serves it's purpose well.

I think if you have many users on your current design they may not associate well with the new due to the color change. People that frequent bright / lite sites tend to think different of darker websites... it's a preference thing.
I think you bring up a good point... something to definitely consider as well. Maybe we can send a gradient to the rescue? Best of both worlds?
Try it out and let us see how it works out!
