Now I'm a huge fan of Coda for the mac, i've been running it for a year or so - its a stunning piece of software. I do however have one GIANT annoyance with it...
Where is a code collapse feature? - its essential surely!
I thought with the plugin system someone might have made something, but alas nothing to be found.
Does anyone else find it incredibly annoying not being able to collapse code segments?

I wouldn't go so far as to say that it's an essential feature, nice yes but not a requirement. I believe the Panic folks are working on something, so there is light at the end of the tunnel.
In other editors and IDEs which have code folding, I often find it an annoyance more than an aide especially when the software decides to automatically fold blocks without asking me!

When you code on a page which isn't CMS/script powered (just flat html) code collapsing is very useful.
For example: You are providing a html/css wireframe mockup to a client, including some paragraph text etc that has been supplied. The client wants you to make amends, and this could involve several rounds of changes to your template. Scrolling up and down the document, trying to find lines surrounded by <p> tags with lots of text in, is highly annoying.
Just one instance really - I get that situation a lot at work (using coda 9-5).
