It is basic i will give it that. 10 points there. But i think it does not properly illustrate what the website is for.
Also, no one really wants to know what is in the future of it. They care for the now. You need to think of your homepage as a break down of how important things are to your website.
So do this little exercise.
1. Write down a list of the features that are important (from uses to actual features)
2. Put a % figure against it's over all importance.
3. If you gave a feature 10% of importance, use 10% of your homepage space to express that feature.
Your call to action should be on the home page, why not chuck the username, email process on there and make that action easier for people to do.
Your BWR Score is 66.67%

Yeah, i do really need to work on it. I kinda whipped that up very quickly and it shows. I got some features lined up for it and will probably end up doing a re release down the line. I put it out there abit prematurely in the rush of having my first site.
I will be definitely be revamping the homepage, and maybe adding a quick sign up section.
