Hey everyone. Love the site. I found it through IPB company forums. Very nice skin!

Hope this is the right forum. I'm having issue with a page failing to load in IE6. The page validates. What else can I look at to troubleshoot. TIA.

Question:

If you take away reCAPTCHA does the page work in IE6?

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I have just tested it. It does load if recaptcha is removed. The recapcha is the only php within the page.

Ok.

I thought so, I was just making sure.

AFAIK if you link to Javascript libraries and reCAPTCHA in the same page it will stop working in IE6.

So how about taking out the links to the JS libraries and see if it works then.

If it does, you might need to use a different CAPTCHA...

Ah, I see. I must link to jquery to fix image transparency. I guess there is no solution. I must ditch one.

If that indeed is the case, and you are only using jQuery for transparency, there are other methods too besides using jQuery.

IEPNGFix

DD_BelatedPNG Fix

IE7 or IE8.js

Angus Turnbull Fix

^^ Just a few of the fixes I have found... I haven't even found one that I am satisfied with yet though.

Well, why do you need to include jQuery in the contact form. Don't see any lightbox items there?

And then just use a plain png fix for that page, but include jquery in all other pages with no recaptcha
