I'm going to experiment with nested sets, a friend brought it up today. See: http://dev.mysql.com...hical-data.html

After reading it all, it looks pretty clever! Thought I'd share the link for programmers that aren't familiar with this yet, I might just start using this for all Hierarchical Data. The idea behind it is not to use nodes like some of you might already be use to doing, but to use containers instead.

I will keep you all updated on my progress and share my completed test code & database. Who already here has experience with nested sets and what's your opinion on it?
