Loving the IPB3 preview so far, not sure when the stable version will be released but will be upgrading. Lots of nice new options.

Oh noeses, another version of this abhorent software.

Still, my opinion of it has gone down in the ditches since they took away the free-in-price part of it.

its a shame they had to charge, i use to use it when it was free, long time ago, if i had a need for it though, i would certainly buy it over any other.
the new version looks HOT aswell!

phpBB is much better on all fronts since the 3.0.0 release. I in fact no longer associate it with a bad name of security holes and bugs.

I've never used IPB before and this forum looks great, would be nice to see some new addons in IPB3 though.

I've always loved IPB and I really do like the look of the new version of it. Although I can see why people prefer vB, it has always seemed to me that IPB is a better final product.

Is there a working, public demo of the new version?

The functionality of IPB3 is going to rock; I'm really looking forward to using it once the first stable version comes out. Also looking forward to getting rid of that yucky default skin; hope it won't take long to learn skinning for the new version of this promising software. smile.gif

I was surprised to learn that this was run on IPB. But I absolutely love it. I'm leaning more towards this then vBulletin if I were to ever start a community. Great choice!

Oh I love it! I can't wait for the stable version to be released. wub.gif

Although I would have wanted some more new features to the blog system. But it doesn't matter really, it's still a much better blogging system than vBulletin could ever dream of having.

IPB just feels so much more modern than the other forum options...
