Hey guys! Having some flash trouble. I have a font that's not displaying in the flash font list, but it's installed on my system. Photoshop displays it just fine! The font is opentype, but I also tried converting it to truetype using FontLab. It just won't show up! I want the font for sIFR. Anyone here know what's causing this? What can I do?

Thanks for reading. smile.gif

Seems like a bit of a stupid suggestion but have you tried restarting flash (or your computer).. That usually works for me.

What type of font is it? Depending on what type of font it is depends on whether ps will use it. ihave same issue with some fonts i have. they are installed but ps wont use them. try reinstallin the font into your font folder. see if ti ask for to to replace. Other issue i have found is that sometimes when your computer updates the fonts for some reason have issues. Just have to reinstall the font and restart the program and its there.

Sry didnt read the full post right off. yeah the opentype fonts have issues with ps. Especially with flash. What i suggest is using a different flash program to do your text. create your design in ps then add you text with another program. Or try to find the font in a truetype font status
