Forum skinning is quite difficult to muster up on the first go around. There are so many specific content pieces that need to be addressed, that styles can easily be broken.

The flow, color balance, and structure of the one you have made fits well. The simplicity of it gives it a unique feel.

Great job.

Awesome concept though I don't really agree with the font choice. Try using Arial, Tahoma, Georgia, Times New Roman, Tahoma or the like. The big, soft font doesn't really fit the style. But overall, the design has a lot of potential and if small edits are done, it could be amazing!

Overall, it looks quite good - but the large font used for the description might become problematic if the individual forum descriptions are more than a few words. Like Xhibition above, I think change of font would probably help a lot. I love the color scheme and think the skin holds a lot of promise. Looking forward to seeing more screenies, perhaps of the topic view and forum view, once you have those ready. wink.gif

I like it. Clean and simple to skin. I disagree with the others about the font.

I think people are seeing the anti aliased text as final but not realising the font will be much clearer when live.

Excellent for your first try m8 well done smile.gif

Next time though take more time and concentrate because if you look closely the strokes on the boxes are 1 pixel out from the header, and work a bit more on your spacing aswell m8.

Overall its a nice design !

don't like the look of the 'flurries' and it seems that will make it very had for it to be a repeating bacground as well.

Second Attempt: Much much MUCH better. What font is that BTW? And Size? IT looks a little big. Remember a lot of that is webtext. Not a fan of the color combo all around but thats more personal opinion.

The mockup looks really nice. Maybe it's a bit small? Would love to see a live demo of it. :)
