Can anyone give me some tips on designing websites?
I've concentrated on coding, and I think I need to learn design.. At least a little.
I appreciate any tips.

Such an open ended question.
It'll be better if you try to design something yourself and then posting it for critique and feedback. That way we at least get a feel for where you're at skill-wise, and from there could tell you how to improve.

Ye as bryan said, post us a design so we can see your skill level.
But, for some generel tips, Check design blogs/forums dails, www.smashingmagazine.com www.daily.creaticca.com www.padtuts.com and so on. to keep up with latest news
Try to make a new design atleast every two days, and if possible finish them first, before asking for advice, try not to have to many WIP, ive made this mistake alot, and still struggle with it. Its best to get it all done, whilst your creaticve juices are flowing, and not to mix them juices, with other designs
download fonts, regularly, and use them, dont stick to the same font ALL the time, but dont use fonts that are "too jazzy"
and just, practice.
